The theme of the workshop is Comparisons in Global Economic History. Organized by Dr. Anne McCants (MIT) and Dr. Jari Eloranta (Appalachian State University) we will meet on the campus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, November 4-6, 2016.

Sponsored by the International Economic History Association, MIT, and the 2018 World Economic History Congress.  The local organizers will cover the accommodations for all the non-local participants, but the attendees are responsible for paying for their own travel.

This workshop seeks to bring forth new comparative research on global economic history. Participation is by invitation only.
